NET Canada Retreat - Yarmouth, Nova Scotia
Join us for a NET Canada Youth Retreat at St. Ambrose!
The retreat will take place on Saturday, October 3 in Marian Hall at St. Ambrose Parish. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., with the retreat starting at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided, and the day will include the celebration of Mass at 4:00 p.m.
All youth in Grades 6–12 are invited!
Please pre-register by September 24 by calling the parish office at 902-742-7151.
Youth Ministry Leader Gathering - October 2026
Throughout the year, youth ministry leaders from across the Archdiocese are invited to gather for prayer, formation, conversation, and connection. Join us from 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. for a chance to be renewed, connect with other leaders, and grow together in accompanying young people toward Jesus. All who serve young people in Grades 6–12 are welcome!
Launch Party & Archdiocesan World Youth Day Celebration
Join youth and young adults from across the Archdiocese for an evening of faith, community, and celebration! Together, we’ll launch Steubenville Atlantic 2027 as it celebrates 20 years and begin our Archdiocesan journey toward World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul. The evening will include dinner, live music, a talk, Eucharistic Adoration, and time to connect.

Halifax-Yarmouth Youth Ministry Leader's Gathering
We are excited to announce our next Youth Ministry Leaders’ Gathering — and the final gathering before Steubenville Atlantic 2026.
Join us on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Halifax for a morning of encouragement, practical conversation, and collaboration with others serving young people across our diocese.
At this final YMLG of the school year, we will focus on Program & Strategy, including how to build a strong vision for your youth ministry, set meaningful goals, and explore best practices for ministry with young people. This is a session you and your team will not want to miss.
We encourage you to share this save-the-date widely with anyone involved in Youth Ministry, Confirmation Preparation, or Catechetics for Grades 6–12.

RESTORE Dartmouth is an invitation to be renewed from the inside out. At our Nights of Worship, we ask God to restore our relationship with Him, restore our hearts, and restore our souls. Halifax Youth Minister Gathering
The Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth is hosting a Youth Minister's Gathering on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10am-12noon at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Halifax.
This will be a great opportunity to meet Youth Ministers from surrounding Parishes and share how we are reaching young people in our own unique contexts. This event is for you, and anyone else in your Parish that serves in High-School aged ministry in your Parish.
