Group Leader Letter 2026

Dear Group Leader,

Over almost 20 years, thousands of teens have had their faith awakened and deepened through an encounter with Jesus Christ at Steubenville Atlantic. Each summer, tens of thousands of young people across North America experience the love of Christ at Steubenville Youth Conferences, and it all begins with leaders like you who say “yes” to bringing them.

Your role is incredibly important. By taking on the responsibility of organising, leading, and caring for your group, you are helping to create a space where young people can genuinely encounter God. It requires sacrifice, time, and patience, and I want you to know how truly grateful we are for your dedication and effort to make this possible.

At each Steubenville Youth Conference, teens experience a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ that ignites their faith, strengthens their prayer life, and empowers them to live on mission long after the conference ends. By guiding your group, you become part of this meaningful mission to help renew the Church and to lead the next generation of disciples closer to the heart of Jesus.

Within this handbook, you will find the details and resources to help you prepare thoroughly for your weekend here. Please take the time to read it carefully and share the necessary information with your chaperones, youth, and parents. You’re not alone in this. Our team is here to support you every step of the way. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you again for answering the call to walk with the young Church. We are very excited to welcome you and your group to Steubenville Atlantic at Dalhousie University this summer, and we are already praying that this conference will be a moment of deep encounter and renewal for each of you.

In Christ,

Alex Stapleton
Project Coordinator – Steubenville Atlantic
