Get Ready for Steubenville Atlantic
The weekend is almost here. Whether your teen is coming for the first time or you've made the trip before, this page has what you need to show up ready. Read it through, pack the night before, and download the app. We'll handle the rest.
When & Where
Steubenville Atlantic runs Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Dalhousie University's Studley Campus in Halifax. All sessions happen in the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium inside the Dalhousie Arts Centre. Everyone stays on campus the whole weekend in Howe Hall or Risley Hall.
Download the App
Get the myParish Classic app before you arrive. Once it's installed, search "Steubenville Atlantic" and select it.
Heads up: the newer myParish app will NOT work. You need the one that says Classic.
This is our main line to you all weekend. Schedule, map, small group questions, meal times, and updates all live in the app. If something changes, this is where you'll find out first.
Staying on Campus
The conference happens entirely on Dalhousie's campus, and everyone stays put for the whole weekend. There's a lot packed into three days, and stepping off campus means missing it.
Meals, sessions, free time, and the fun all happen right here.
Need Help During the Weekend?
The Conference Information Desk on the main level of the Dalhousie Arts Centre is your first stop for anything. Lost something, have a question, not sure where to be? Start there.
First Aid is in room 409 of the Dal Arts Centre.
The Adoration Chapel is open all weekend in room 401.
For emergencies call 911 then Dal Security at 902-494-4109
What's Provided
Each participant gets a residence room with bedding, sheets, and towels included. All meals are served in the Howe Hall Dining Hall, with all-you-care-to-eat options and a range of stations so there's something for everyone.
What to Pack
A few things aren't provided, so bring them:
A WATER BOTTLE. Please bring your own — you'll want it all weekend.
Soap, shampoo, and toiletries
Spending money for the Marketplace (debit and credit also work)
The full packing list lives in the Group Leader Toolkit and the app.
Your teen is in good hands all weekend. Group leaders and chaperones always know where their participants are and who's supervising them. Youth travel in groups and use the buddy system, and a single adult is never alone with a single youth. Every adult on site has cleared our Responsible Ministry screening.
Everyone wears a conference wristband at all times. it's how we know who belongs on campus, and it doubles as your teen's pass into meals. Men and women stay in separate residences, and no one is permitted on the opposite gender's floors.
If anything comes up during the weekend, medical, safety, or otherwise, there's security staff and First Aid on site, and your teen's group leader is right there with them.
No Walk-Ins
The conference is sold out and registration is closed. We can't accommodate walk-ins, so everyone coming needs to be registered with their group ahead of time. In addition, we are unable to offer any sessions open to the public this year. Everyone who can’t join us this year is encouraged to watch on YouTube Live
Meals
All meals are served in the Howe Hall Dining Hall. Each participant's wristband is their meal pass, and entry times are staggered by wristband colour to keep the lines moving. Your teen just shows up at their scheduled time with their group! All meal times are in the myParish Classic app.
Seating Assignments
For the first time in Halifax, we are going to be seating groups in the auditorium by section this year! Each group will rotate between the sections throughout the weekend.
ReCharge Zone
Saturday afternoon, the Dalhousie Student Union Building (second floor) turns into the Recharge Zone with inflatables, snacks, music, and a chance to meet the Ministry Team. It's a fun, low-key spot for groups to hang out and recharge between sessions.
